With the introduction of the highly advanced reformulated lubricants which include Rubia Fleet HD 500, Rubia SX Super and Rubia G-6200 Super, TotalEnergies is setting a new benchmark in the market for environmentally responsible and high- performance engine oils.
These products cater to the diverse needs of Uganda’s taxi, bus, and truck operators, providing superior protection for both turbocharged and conventional engines.
Officials said the key benefits of the reformulated lubricants include longer drain intervals by reducing the frequency of oil changes and enhancing cost-efficiency, improved detergents to ensure engines stay cleaner for longer, maintaining engine health by minimizing sludge build-up, extended engine life through advanced acid-neutrality technology which
prolongs engine lifespan , reduction in engine noise and vibrations ensuring a smoother driving
experience and ensuring turbocharged engine compatibility specifically engineered for turbo engines,
providing superior protection.
"These advanced formulations are specifically designed to cater for diverse needs of taxis, buses, trucks and other vehicles to ensure we provide superior protection for both the turbocharged and the conventional engines," said Daniel Mayeka the Managigng Director of TotalEnergies marketing Uganda.
At the same function, TotalEnergies launhed the Master Wa Street campaign aimed at educating mechanics and vehicle owners on the benefits of using next-generation oils.
"Mechanics are recognized as trusted advisors and are central to ensuring the use of high-quality oils. TotalEnergies will empower them with product knowledge and benefits, making them advocates of the new formulations and encouraging recommendations to vehicle owners," Mayeka said.
