JoJo Ryder, a celebrated television producer and writer recognised for his work on 'The Bachelor' and 'American Heist’, is in Uganda on a mission to connect with local filmmakers and producers.
His visit is part of a broader effort to seek inspiration and explore potential collaborations for an upcoming documentary project focused on youth.

Ryder and his team will bring in a team from the USA to collaborate with the team in Uganda on these documentaries.
While in Uganda, Ryder on Wednesday visited the state-of-the-art Next Media Park, home to Uganda’s leading media house and was treated to a magnificent tour of the establishment.
He held discussions with Next Media Group CEO Kin Kariisa, where he lauded the groundbreaking work being done at the facility and expressed interest in collaborative opportunities.
“I don’t like the place I love it, its really a great infrastructure its something that filmmakers have always dreamed of.
Ryder emphasised the importance of showcasing Uganda’s growth and potential through storytelling.
“Ugandan producers and filmmakers should focus on the growth of the country and what’s to come”.
As Ryder’s visit continues, it is expected to create new opportunities for partnerships between Ugandan creatives and global media networks, shining a spotlight on the nation’s talent and stories.
