Police in Kisoro are investigating circumstances under which a 33-year-old man was electrocuted while working on a building project.

Witnesses say Henry Niyigaba was on the third floor of a building bending an iron bar used in construction of pillars when it got into contact with naked live wire overhead.

Following the shocks, Niyigaba was rushed to the nearby Heart Medical Clinic but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
